The Galveston-Trivandrum Sister City Society in collaboration and help with all Indians across America wants to build a replica of one of the prominent landmark building of Galveston in our sister city Trivandrum and name it House of FREEDOM & DEMOCRACY (American House) built by Indian’s in America. It will promote the vision and mission of Sister Cities of promoting friendship between people of USA (World's Greatest Democracy and people of India, The world's Largest Democracy). The citizens selected the most beautiful & prominent building in Galveston, Old Red or Bishops Palace. Anyone can make suggestions and recommendations. We can raise funds from people through out the country and major corporations to promote freedom and democracy and to promote American values in that part of the world. The FREEDOM & Democracy House will host American traveling exhibits and will be place for American arts and culture and provide assistance to traveling public from America to that part of the world including Indian Americans visiting their homeland and act as a proud symbol of America.
